OceanOfferings.com opened in May of 2000, selling exclusively online – Giftware and Jewelry, Inspired by the Sea.
Melinda Reed, founder and CEO, started the company to create a source for unique and distinctive products, appealing to individuals who love the seashore and who share her passion for the ocean and it’s treasures. “Our products are not the typical nautical gifts and jewelry. Ocean Offerings’ Gift Gallery includes men and women’s fishing jewelry, decorative accessories for the home and garden, glassware and serveware. Most of Ocean Offerings’ products are handcrafted, many by local artists.
Ocean Offerings contributes a portion of each sale to the National Colorectal Cancer Research Alliance (NCCRA). The NCCRA was co-founded by NBC TODAY show co-anchor Katie Couric, nationally known cancer fundraiser Lilly Tartikoff, and the Entertainment Industry Foundation.
